A suspected drunk driver struck an ambulance that was transporting a patient Friday morning, according to the Houston Fire Department.
The Community Ambulance, which did not have on any overhead lights or sirens, was traveling north on W Houston Center when it was hit by the other vehicle that was traveling west on Westpark.
No injuries were reported.
Another ambulance with the same company was called out to transport the patient to the hospital.
