An elderly woman's home was completely destroyed after a massive fire early Saturday morning.

Firefighters responded to the home on Caplin Street near Barnston Street around 3 a.m.

When they arrived, firefighters said they found heavy flames pouring from the house.

According to reports, the fire started in the homeowner's pickup truck that was parked in a car port next to the house.

The flames eventually spread to the side of the home.

The homeowner was there at the time, but she was able to get out safely, firefighters said.

No one was injured.
