The Houston Fire Department has discovered a male on surveillance camera from the Southwest Inn fire that could have information to assist in their investigation.

HFD says the man is not a suspect in the fire, but they would like to speak with the person for any details he may have to complete a thorough investigation.

Four Houston firefighters died in the line of duty and 13 others were injured in the 5-alarm blaze back on May 31. The mayor called it the "worst day in the history of the Houston Fire Department."

Officials say the man was caught on surveillance the day of the fire between 11:45 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in the parking lot during the early stages of the fire.

The man appears to be in his 50's or 60's, gray haired and balding. Other witnesses insist they saw him.

Investigators say it could be several months before we learn the exact cause of the fire.
