Dish starting new bundle that's cable, satellite free

HOUSTON –  If you want to cut the cable cord, there's now a new enticing offer.

Satellite giant Dish is preparing to launch Sling TV, a bundle of channels that would be cable and satellite free.

The big names that service would include are ESPN and ESPN 2.

Now non-sports fans may be happy to hear the new service will include the Food Network, Disney Channel, HGTV, even the Cartoon Network would be included.

The service is $20 a  month and there is no contract. It all starts later this month.

If you'll remember Time Warner recently announced HBO would soon be available as a stand alone web service.
