HOUSTON – A man has been accused of killing his father in northwest Harris County.
Cory Baker, 41, has been charged with murder.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said that a woman called them from a home in the 16000 block of Lakeshore Drive about 11 a.m. Sunday and told them that her son had shot his father.
Deputies went to the house and found Dale Baker, 63, in an upstairs bedroom. He suffered a gunshot wound to the head, investigators said.
Dale Baker was rushed by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he died.
Investigators said they do not know the motive for the shooting.
Cory Baker was arrested at the scene. He was booked into the Harris County Jail with bond set at $50,000.
Cory Baker's criminal history includes convictions on charged of assault-bodily injury, deadly conduct, trespassing, assault of a family member, assault of a public servant and driving while intoxicated.
