HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - One deputy with the Harris County Sheriff's Office has been fired and another has been suspended.

William Lilley, a 30-year veteran with the force, was fired Thursday. Authorities said it was because he was not investigating his cases.

Lieutenant Ruben Diaz, Lilley's supervisor, was suspended 20 days without pay for failing to supervise.
