The Harris County Sheriff's Office said tips have resulted in a big drug bust and seizure in northwest Harris County.
After receiving several tips through the iWatchHarrisCounty app about drug activity at a home in the 17900 block of Glenledi Drive, deputies went to the house on Monday. The deputies said they noticed a strong odor of marijuana inside the home.
After a search warrant was obtained, deputies searched the residence and found 18 pounds of marijuana with a street value of $90,000. Deputies also found a loaded AR-15 military-type assault rifle, two loaded handguns, two shotguns and more than $13,000 in cash during the search.
The homeowner, Esteban Martinez-Vadrar, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. He is currently in the Harris County Jail.
