HOUSTON – HazMat crews cleared a train derailment in the Heights Thursday night, according to the City of Houston.
Authorities said the derailment happened near West 11th Street and Hempstead Road.

Houston firefighters said they received a call around 6 p.m. regarding a train derailment. The incident was cleared, and an investigation is underway into what caused it.
No injuries have been reported.
