Harris County Attorney files lawsuit against adult entertainment club

Foxxy's Cabaret is located 500 within 500 of school

HOUSTON – Harris County Attorney Vince Ryan has filed a lawsuit against Foxxy's Cabaret, an adult entertainment club.

According to Ryan, Foxxy's Cabaret, located in the 11100 block of South Post Oak Road, has been the location of crimes, including prostitution and narcotics offenses.

The county attorney said the club features bikini-clad dancers, lap dancing and has a "Champagne Lounge" where, for an additional fee, dancers will perform sexual acts.

The lawsuit demands the club owner and property owner take steps to make sure laws are followed.

The club does not have a sexually-oriented business license from the city of Houston. The ordinance requires a 1,500-foot distance between a sexually-oriented business and a church or school. Foxxy's Cabaret is located within 500 feet of a school.
