HOUSTON – A 3-year-old girl died after her father accidentally ran over her in northwest Harris County, investigators said.
Harris County sheriff's deputies said the father hit the girl as he was backing out of a driveway in the 11000 block of Ericston near Jones on Friday afternoon.
The father rushed his daughter to a nearby hospital, where she died. Her name has not been released.
Investigators have not said if the father will face charges.
