Driver extracted from pickup after crashing into Keegans Bayou

HOUSTON – First responders rushed a driver to the hospital after he crashed his pickup truck into Keegans Bayou Saturday night.

According to investigators, the victim was headed south, driving under the interchange of Highway 59 and Beltway 8 about midnight.

Police said the driver was speeding and lost control on a turn. The truck hit a concrete barrier before crashing into the bayou.

Crews had to extract the victim after the wreck. He was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
