Frontier Airlines ends service to Hobby Airport

HOUSTONFrontier Airlines is shifting its Houston operations from William P. Hobby Airport back to George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

The move was effective on Wednesday.

Customers who purchased tickets to/from Hobby on July 11 and beyond have been rebooked on flights to/from Bush Intercontinental.

According to the airline, its return to Houston's larger airport will provide increased convenience and flexibility for Frontier passengers.

"Bush Intercontinental offers great connection opportunities that will provide our passengers with additional travel choices," said Daniel Shurz, Frontier's senior vice president, commercial.
