Freebie Friday: Burgers, music and health screenings

It's Freebie Friday and that means free burgers, health screenings and live music.

Fatburgers are available to buy in 25 different countries, but you haven't been able to taste the burger in Texas until now. Free samples of Fatburgers are being cooked up and given away at three Houston area Walmarts on Saturday, August 17.

The Fatburger tour and sample giveaway is to promote frozen Fatburger beef patties will be available for purchase in 3,100 Walmart stores.

Free Back to School Health Fair

There will be a free Back to School Health Fair Saturday, August 17, from 9am - 12pm at the Emancipation Community Center (3018 Dowling, Houston, TX 77004) sponsored by the Houston Parks and Recreation Department and Council Member Wanda Adams. It will include a free wellness zone, health screenings including dental, free school supplies and the Houston Food Bank will be handing out free produce. All items are available on a first come first served, while supplies last.

Free Live Music - Party on the Pier

Free live music in Galveston Saturday, August 17, 6pm - 9pm, at the Party on the Pier on Pier 21. This month the Silverado Band will be playing live country music.
