Four men wanted in Katy bank robbery

KATY, Texas – Investigators with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office are searching for the armed men involved in a bank robbery in Katy.

At around 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, deputies say they were called to the Wells Fargo Bank located on Highway 99 near Bay Hills in Katy about an armed robbery.

According to detectives, four men entered the bank displaying handguns, then took off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Deputies say the robbers were heavily clothed and wore hoodie-style jackets.

One employee received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $5,000 REWARD to any individual that can lead authorities to the apprehension and filing of charges on those who committed the aggravated bank robbery.
