4 arrested in connection to Sugar Land home invasion

Men accused of attacking woman and stealing jewelry from her home

SUGAR LAND, Texas – Four men have been charged in connection to a robbery where a woman was attacked inside her home.

Leonel Cruz, 18; Eduardo Villanueva, 29; John Anthony Ramirez, 18;  and Larry Wayne Cinco, 30, were charged with aggravated robbery and burglary.

Police said the men were part of a group that planned and executed the home invasion in the 4600 block of Summer Lakes on Aug. 29. A woman was alone in her house when she heard a knock at her door.

Police said two men forced their way inside, pushed her to the floor and demanded money. When she did not comply, the men then kicked her in the face, zip-tied her hands and stole jewelry from her home.

Cruz and Villanueva are in the Fort Bend County jail on a $1.25 million bond each.

Ramirez and Cinco are in the Harris County Jail on unrelated charges. They will be transported to the Fort Bend County jail, where their bond will be set at $250,000 each.
