Fort Bend sheriff orders drug tests for staff

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas - There's a new sheriff in Fort Bend County, and he's making sure all of his staff knows his office is a drug-free environment.

Sheriff Troy Nehls ordered all Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office employees, including deputies, to take a drug test. He was not exempt and was the first to submit a sample.

Everyone in the office will complete their test by the end of Friday.

The entire staff is also getting new identification badges.
