FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – A Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office K-9 is fighting for his life after he was bitten by a snake.
Deputies believe that Rudy was bitten during training, possibly by a copperhead.

The sheriff's department posted the story on its Facebook page.
"He is strong and we hope he recovers OK," deputies said.
They asked the public to keep Rudy in their thoughts and prayers.
