HOUSTON – Former Galveston County District Clerk Jason Murray is back in jail after a long battle with legal troubles.
In December, Murray was told to stay away from his wife after pleading guilty to assaulting her.

According to his attorney, Murray was arrested Thursday.
We're told he was in an area that violated a judge's order.
This arrest comes just weeks after Murray was charged with DWI and resigned his county position.
