BAYTOWN - The former president of a booster club is facing a third degree felony for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars.

Investigators say 40-year-old Monica Parks stole somewhere around $13,000 from the Lee High School Cheerleading Booster Club in January.

Authorities said their investigation found that Hill had inappropriately used the money from the non-profit organization for her own personal needs.

Hill is currently awaiting trial.
