HOUSTON - School bus drivers with the flu are impacting Houston-area kids.
The Spring Branch Independent School District sent out a warning letter to parents Wednesday. The district said buses may be delayed picking up students or dropping them off.
So many bus drivers are sick with the flu, the district is having to double up the bus routes. That means buses may not arrive at school or neighborhood bus stops at their usual time.
The district says it regrets the inconvenience and are asking for patience as they work through the situation.
If a student's bus is delayed and you still have questions about its arrival time, you can call SBISD Dispatch at 713-251-1060.
Also the district is asking if you know someone who would like to drive a bus part time to call them at 713-251-1060.
