HOUSTON -

Firefighters were called to put out a grass fire in southeast Houston.

The fire started around 11:30 a.m. Monday in the area near Wind Mill Lakes and Almeda Genoa, according to the Houston Fire Department.

Flames and smoke could be seen from Sky 2.

Fire officials said several units were called to help put out the flames.

No word yet what caused the fire to start.
