HOUSTON – Firefighters rescued three dogs that were trapped in a burning townhome Wednesday night.
The Houston Fire Department responded to the fire at a townhouse on Beechnut Street at Riptide Drive around 11:15 p.m.
Firefighters found the home engulfed in flames, but were able to get the fire under control.
No one was home at the time of the fire, but there were three dogs inside that had to be rescued. One of those dogs had trouble breathing after escaping and was given oxygen.
