HOUSTON – A high school was evacuated because of a fire on Friday.
Houston firefighters said a dryer in the laundry room of Lee High School, 6529 Beverly Hill, caught fire about 1:50 p.m.

The students were evacuated while crews worked to clear smoke from the building.
No injuries were reports.
