HOUSTON – Crews responded to a fire at a popular Mexican restaurant near the Upper Kirby area.
Houston firefighters were called to Guadalajara Hacienda, located on the Southwest Freeway near Kirby Drive, Tuesday morning.

According to officials, the fire started somewhere in the center of the restaurant.
The flames were extinguished and now investigators are looking into what happened.
Fire officials said all of the employees made it outside safely and no injuries were reported.
