HOUSTON - A fire destroyed a home in northeast Houston Sunday morning.

Around 3 a.m., firefighters responded to reports of a fire at a house on Roanoke near Crosstimbers.  When they arrived, HFD said they found a house that had already burned to the ground.

Firefighters managed to put out flames that had spread to the grass area surrounding the home.

No one was injured in the fire.

Arson units did not immediately release a cause of the fire; it remains under investigation.
