HOUSTON - A fire late Tuesday night forced a family to leave their home in northeast Houston.

Fire officials said the flames were reported around 10:45 p.m. on Firnat Street near Lockwood Drive.

A few men were living in the home and claimed to be the homeowners.

Fire officials say there was no electricity or gas service at the home when the fire began.

No one was injured, but the home had severe damage and was considered a total loss.
