A fire captain was injured when a pick-up slammed into his fire truck in northwest Houston.
Around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, investigators said a fire crew was on their way to a call with their lights and sirens on along Highway 290.
Fire officials said the pick-up ran into them when they tried to make a turn on to West 34th.
Officials said the captain was taken to the hospital with minor bumps and bruises.
The driver of the truck was not injured, but investigators said he was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
