HOUSTON - A Clear Lake High School student has been charged with robbery after a fellow student turned him in, authorities say.

According to police, Jacob Rodriquez, 17, tried to rob a brother and sister at knifepoint.

The female victim ran into a near by store and gave everyone inside a description of Rodriguez, police said.

According to investigators, a fellow student recognized the description of Rodriguez and told police.

Rodriguez has been charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
