Classes were delayed Tuesday morning after a power outage at the Dulles complex of schools, according to Fort Bend ISD officials.
The power at Dulles Elementary School has been restored and classes have resumed, but power at Dulles High School remains out. There is no word on the middle school.
The following letters were sent to parents.
Dear Dulles High School Parents,
This morning there have been electrical power issues at the Dulles complex of schools. The power was shut down to make area repairs. The HVAC system was affected and is not working.
In an effort to provide lunch and advance notice of early dismissal, we are serving lunch ahead of schedule and will dismiss school at 12:15 p.m. Students who drive to school will be allowed to leave at 12:10 p.m. to allow for the bus dismissal.
The repairs will be completed today and school will resume on normal schedules tomorrow.
