HOUSTON – The FBI is asking the public's help identifying a crook who walked away from a bank robbery without any cash.

The robbery happened at the Wells Fargo Bank at 10978 Grant Road on Wednesday.

At about 10:43 a.m., the robber entered the bank alone and approached the teller. He demanded cash and told her not to hit any alarms, investigators said.

The bank robber fled without getting any money, officials said. No weapon was observed by witnesses. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The bank robber is described as black, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and 180 pounds with a medium build. He wore jeans, a dark shirt and a black ball cap.
