HUMBLE, Texas - The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force of Houston is asking for the public's assistance in helping to identify three armed men who robbed a Woodforest Bank on Friday.
Authorities say the robbery happened around 3 pm Friday at the branch located at 6400 FM 1960 East in Humble, Texas.
The robbers entered the bank with their weapons drawn. According to the FBI, each bank robber was armed with a semi-automatic pistol.
Officials say the robbers verbally demanded cash. No customers were inside the bank at the time of the robbery. No one was physically hurt.
According to the FBI, the robbers did get away with cash. They said the stolen vehicle used in the robbery was recovered a short distance away from the bank.
Authorities describe the robbers as black males, about 5-foot 6-inches to 5-foot 8-inches tall, weighing 150 to 165 pounds and all wore dark clothing.
Although they each had their faces covered, officials said a portion of their faces can been seen in the bank's surveillance video photographs.
Crime Stoppers says it is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of these robbers.
