HOUSTON – The FBI and other law enforcement agencies raided a business in southwest Houston.
Dozens of boxes were removed from inside an office building in the 8300 block of the Southwest Freeway on Wednesday. The boxes were then loaded into the back of a van.
Law enforcement agents with the FBI, Office of the Inspector General and the Texas Attorney General's Office were on site, confiscating the confidential files.
KPRC Local 2 has learned the raid is related to health care fraud investigation. The search warrant in the case is sealed, so information about what was removed from the office was not released.
According to law enforcement agencies, no arrests were made.
