FBCSO seeks man who flashed woman

Incident happened near busy Richmond intersection as kids walked by

RICHMOND, Texas – Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who exposed himself near the intersection of Williams Way Boulevard and Ransom Road.

The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in a Richmond-area neighborhood.

A mother of two, who lives nearby, was the unfortunate witness. She had just dropped her kids off at school and was going for a run when the man pulled up in an SUV.

"He pulled over, unrolled the window and leaned out and asked for directions," she told Local 2.

The man asked her how to get to the DMV. She got a little closer to his vehicle so she could help him and realized he was not only exposing himself but also touching himself. She backed away and the man took off, heading toward the Southwest Freeway.

What's most troubling to people who live in the quiet neighborhood is the incident happened near a busy intersection before school and there were kids walking by.

"It was right before school starts," she said. "It was at a major intersection where the crossing guard is. There are people out, there were kids crossing the street, kids that walk by themselves. A lot of families and kids out at that time."

The man was described as a Hispanic man between 30 and 40 years old. He had a mustache and was wearing a gray or brown shirt and blue jeans. He was driving what appeared to be an early 1990s red or maroon Chevrolet Blazer.

Information that leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the man involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000. Call Crimestoppers at 281-342-8477 or text FBCCS plus your tip to CRIMES (274637).
