HARRIS COUNTY – A father, his two daughters and their five dogs made it safely out of their condo after a fire broke out early Tuesday morning.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Audubon Park Condos, located on Mesa near the Beltway, in northeast Harris County.

Upon arrival, firefighters with the Eastex Fire Department found flames coming from an upstairs bedroom in one of the condos.
Firefighters made a fast attack and were able to put out the fire in 15 minutes.
Officials said the fire was mostly contained to the one bedroom. They also reported lots of water damage.
No word yet on what caused the fire to start.
