A father and son were killed in a home invasion in east Harris County early Saturday morning.
The victim's wife survived the deadly robbery and was talking to deputies about the suspects who committed the crime.
Deputies responded to the home off of Cutler Ridge just before 1:00 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies said 49-year-old Mario DeSantiago and his 21-year-old son, Leo, were in the garage when they were held at gunpoint and robbed by two men and a woman.
The thieves forced their way into the home where deputies said they stole more items before shooting and killing both men.
The entire neighborhood is stunned and said they do not know why the family was targeted.
"Hard working guy, all he did was take care of his family, wash cars, mind their own business and take care of their yard," said neighbor Michael Johnson.
