The first victim was carrying her young child and groceries to her apartment when two robbers approached her. They pointed a gun at the woman's head and demanded her purse and phone.

Investigators said the robbers then drove to another side of the complex and attacked another victim. That person was beaten in the face and head with a gun.

Police said the robbers drove away from the scene in an older white Ford Explorer with shiny rims.

Police have provided a surveillance image they said shows one of the suspects at a store where he attempted to use a victim's credit card.

Police say one suspect appeared to be 13 years old and was wearing a drab green hoody and blue jeans. The second suspect was 18 years old and was wearing jeans and a baseball cap. Police believe there could have been two more suspects waiting in the get-away vehicle.
