Arson investigators are trying to figure out what caused a house fire in northwest Houston.
The fire broke around 4:20 a.m. Thursday at a home on Antoine Drive near Long Creek.
Investigators said the father had just got home and was in the kitchen making breakfast when he noticed smoke coming from the vents. He quickly dialed 911 and got his family out of the home before anyone got hurt, officials said.
Fire crews rushed to the scene and were able to douse the flames. Arson investigators were called to the scene to figure out what started the fire, fire officials said.
