SOUTHEAST HOUSTON – A male driver hit a mother, father, and daughter after getting into a confrontation in the middle of the street, according to Houston Police.
HPD said around 1 a.m. on Saturday, the driver ran over the three family members on Littleford and Brookfield in southeast Houston.
Other family members and friends who lived near by ran out and stopped the driver from leaving. Police said, they pulled the driver out of the vehicle and started to beat him until HPD arrived.
While a friend of the daughter involved in the fight was being treated for a hand injury, she started to fight the officers. Police arrested her and took her to the hospital for further treatment.
The mother and father were also taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The driver was arrested.
