A North Carolina mom who tried to recreate a famous Coppertone ad with a picture of her 2-year-old daughter's exposed bottom ended up in the middle of controversy. Jill White, a photographer, posted the picture of her daughter's bathing suit being pulled down by a friend to the Coppertone Facebook page.
But according to Today's Kurt Schlosser, Facebook said the post violated its decency terms and removed the photo. Jill White also ended up being banned from the social media site for 24 hours.
Later, White posted an edited version of the photo with an icon over the exposed bottom, and the quote "Good NEWS...they will NOT be removing this photo!!!! But if I post the other photo again I will be banned from Facebook." White's photo is now going viral.
