KATY, Texas – A Facebook effort is underway to help raise money for a dog in Katy that was hit by a car.
The Facebook page is called "Help save this baby's life."

The dog's name is Hulk-Smash. He underwent surgery Thursday, according to the Facebook page. People have been posting information about him and his condition.
Hulk-Smash was found after being hit by a car. He taken to the Kingsland Boulevard Vet Clinic. He had a broken back and broken leg.
According to the Facebook page, his surgery will cost anywhere from $5,000 to $6,000.
After all the money has been raised, and Hulk-Smash has had his medical care, he will go to a foster home.
