HOUSTON -

An arrest warrant has been issued for the former IT director for the Port of Houston Authority.

Robert Carl Prohl, Jr. has been indicted by a grand jury. He's accused of stealing more than $200,000 from the Port.

The Port Authority says after conducting an internal investigation into the alleged theft, the agency contacted the Harris County District Attorney's Office.

Prohl, 44, is wanted on charges of misapplication of fiduciary property.

The Port Authority says it is cooperating with the District Attorney’s office in prosecuting the case.
