Police do not believe there were any terroristic means to the shootings.

Police said the shooter, Dionisio Garza, had no help from anyone in Houston.

There is no indication that this was a hate crime. Police consider it a random act.

McGalin put the shootings in perspective by describing Garza's background and history.

Police said the fatal shot that killed Garza was taken from over 100 yards away.
