Houston – Crime scene investigators went back to the home of a murdered 74-year-old Houston man, to recover more evidence after arresting three suspects, including the man's grandson.
Celestino Flores was found beaten to death in his home on Monday.
His sons describe him as a man who loved people and life.
"He loved everybody. He was very involved in the rodeo. He was involved in the Moose Lodge. He had friends. He retired, all he wanted to do was drive a shuttle cart so he could talk to people. He was a very loved person," said Flores' son, Phillip Flores.
Celestino was a retired auto body technician and for the last five years, he'd been an enthusiastic volunteer with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
According to Celestino's son, Celestino Flores Jr. he loved the rodeo, and anything to do with a group of people.
"Anything to do with a group of people, he wanted to be part of it," Flores Jr. said.
Flores' green Ford Explorer was found in an Alvin city park by an Alvin police officer.
The officer arrested two men and a boy who were allegedly sitting inside smoking marijuana.
One of the men was Flores' 20-year-old grandson, Greg Flores.
The other adult was 18-year-old Eric Hernandez.
The 13-year-old, whose name has not been released, was handed over to Child Protective Services.
Hernandez and Greg were interviewed Tuesday night.
The two are being held in Brazoria County Jail, charged with marijuana possession.
No charges have been filed in the murder case.
