HOUSTON – The holiday season is just around the corner. While some will be headed out to shop for last minute items, thieves will be shopping around too—for victims.
Harris County Constable Precinct 6 deputies will be beef up patrols at one of the busiest shopping centers in southeast Houston. They'll be riding Segways for quicker response times to some areas. The Harris County vehicle Report Card will be on patrol, letting shoppers know if their vehicle is an easy target for thieves.
