HOUSTON – A vehicle was used Friday to ram an armored truck outside a southwest Houston convenience store, according to police.

The incident was reported about 9:35 a.m. at the BK Food Mart on Willow Drive near Gasmer Drive.

Houston police Public Information Office Kese Smith said the driver used a tool to damage the armored truck after crashing into it.

Smith said shots were fired during the incident.

The driver fled the scene, Smith said.

Police said the man they are looking for is a black man in his 20s, driving a black early model Ford Econoline van.
