HOUSTON – Police said they are looking for a man that ran into a utility pole and took off running.
The Houston Police Department said a driver lost control of his or her car and slammed into the pole around 1 a.m. on the Southwest Freeway at Club Creek. The impact of the crash split the pole in half.

Police said the driver got out of the vehicle and ran away on foot.
CenterPoint said the downed utility pole knocked out power to the area, but it was restored within 15 minutes.
