Driver killed after hitting fire truck

Witnesses said the car never stopped

HOUSTON – A driver is dead after hitting a fire truck in northeast Houston Sunday.
Police said the engine was backing into the truck bay after returning to fire station 74 on Aldine Bender and Lillja when a car hit the truck.
Witnesses said the car never stopped and hit the fire truck at full speed.
The car was pinned under the truck and the driver killed.
No firefighters were hurt.
The driver's identity hasn't been released.
