HOUSTON – A driver hit a man with his pickup truck, and then confronted the victim and shoved him to the ground as he tried to get up, witnesses told police Wednesday.
The victim was hit around 12 a.m. Wednesday on Forestburg Drive near Scotsbrook Drive in northwest Harris County.
Witnesses said while the victim was on the ground, the driver got out of his truck and started arguing with him. They said the driver then shoved the man back on the ground when he tried to get up.
Investigators believe the men may have known each other.
The victim was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in serious condition. His name was not released.
Deputies are hoping they can get a better description of the driver and his truck after they get a chance to question the victim at the hospital.
