HOUSTON – A man was killed by a train while trying to drive across the tracks.
Officials said the arms were down at the intersection of Hillcroft and South Main Street at 2:30 a.m. Saturday when the driver tried to go around them and got stuck on the tracks.

The conductor was unable to stop the train in time and slammed into the side of the car.
The 30-year-old man died at the scene.
