HOUSTON – A driver was killed after slamming into a stalled 18-wheeler in Montgomery County, officials said.
The incident was reported at 8 p.m. on Interstate 45.

Officials said trailer truck was stopped on the shoulder with safety flares when the driver had slammed into it. The victim was taken to Conroe Regional Trauma Center, and was pronounced dead.
It is unknown why the driver crashed into the truck.
The crash is under investigation.
